For my Senior Capstone project, I explored the world of bio-inspired robotics through fully recreating a Cownose Ray Robot designed by Dr. Giovanni Bianchi and Dr. Simone Cinquemani from the Polytechnic University in Milan, Italy, from their paper: Design of a Bioinspired Cownose Ray. This project pushed me to become adept in skills such as 3D printing, CAD modeling, breadboarding, and Arduino coding. After more than a year of intensive effort, I presented my final work to a panel of judges and audience members in a TED-style showcase.
